Hello. For continuous access I disabled HDD management through speedfan, allowing disks to conserve cycles or go into sleep mode. Now I’m wondering about the impact on CPU, GPU, and fans. Does speedfan introduce extra driver overhead, or might it influence performance and long-term stability? I’m very careful about handling my PC components. This is my first custom build, and I treat it like a valuable project.

Don't stress too much about it, I keep my PC running for more than 15 hours, 3 to 4 times a week while folding at full power. It doesn't break easily.

Usually just wear it. I don't believe tracking devices nonstop is wise, even if possible. Just checking GPU-Z shows it's not responding quickly—it seems like driver data being pulled. I should keep speedfan running constantly, since turning it off removes any fan control (including BIOS).
