Is your new computer so slow for the web?
I built my computer but the internet speed on ethernet is still terrible. This isn't happening with other things I own, and I've tried fixing my network drivers without success. My motherboard is a Gigabyte B450M DS3H, and my CPU is a Ryzen 7 5800X. Any ideas?
What kind of Ethernet cable are you using? Do you have another known working one that works at speed so we can try it out? Check that only one network adapter is turned on - whether wired or wireless. In your case, just the Ethernet adapter should be active. Make sure the network adapter's Speed and Duplex setting is set to Auto. Turn off IPv6. Run "ipconfig /all" without quotes in the Command Prompt and post the results here. You should be able to copy the output from the window so you don't have to type it all over again. Also, list make and model information for your modem, router, or combined modem/router setup.
