It should handle light gaming fine. It may have trouble with more challenging titles because of a low GPU and just 8GB of RAM.

Gaming tier refers to the level of performance a gaming PC can achieve. Most current systems handle games efficiently, but older setups struggle with modern titles. My laptop, equipped with limited RAM and a basic GPU, can only run older games like Anno 1404. It might manage a few newer games, but overall, it's stuck in iGPU range.

Only when gaming is easy to run games or old games. The Radeon 610 isn't significantly faster than the built-in video card in the CPU. You'd have to move up several video card categories to reach a "gaming" laptop from what you currently have.
