Is your CPU voltage within the recommended range?
I've just set up my new system and it's working perfectly so far. However, I checked the BIOS and noticed the CPU core voltage is at 1.44V. I saw a video about auto profile settings and how high the voltage can get, but I don’t recall the exact threshold. My Ryzen 5 3600 model has that spec, so let me know if you need more details!
Zen 2 handles it, delivering up to 1.45V even during brief, intermittent tasks (like moving the mouse or getting stuck in BIOS).
I can successfully run my Ryzen 7 3800X with an all-core overclock at 4.4GHz and a VCore of 1.280V. The Ryzen 2 line handles undervolting excellently. It runs extremely fast, stays stable, and operates quietly. As everyone mentions here, if you prefer not to tweak anything, sticking with the default settings is perfectly fine—the BIOS will automatically calibrate based on PBO being set to AUTO. You'll achieve great performance this way.
