Far Cry 4 + DLCs is my favourite out of the series and replayed a few times. Did enjoy 5 and New Dawn too.
Can get used to 3rd person in WL quite quickly and it's not always in 3rd person. Do have the choice to be in 1st person when firing weapons. The battles on ground and in the air and the audio to go with is awesome. The only concept i needed to get used to was no jumping but that wasn't game breaking and did have leaping function instead to get over ledges and fences. It's a gem of a game if you're willing to give it a shot.

More precisely, the object involved in GRW is referred to as mantling. It's also quite typical in similar tactical scenarios, such as when soldiers wear packs and carry long weapons—they tend not to jump when on the ground. GRW is an excellent game, and the environment is truly impressive. Although it's presented in third person, the shooting experience feels quite close to first person. I also appreciated FC4 a great deal, though not as much as FC5. I disliked the frequent use of the "Bliss" narcotic plant element, particularly its unpredictable and irritating appearance and disappearance of animals. New Dawn would have been a better choice for FC5, and it was quite good.

Interesting fact—every day brings something new to learn. The scenery in WL is amazing. I wanted to say thank you for the great audio again; they did an excellent job. I really enjoy the attack helicopters and the minigun sounds—they give a strong sense of power behind each shot. New Dawn is a good idea, as you said. The story is short, but I took my time exploring side quests, which is exactly what I planned for every game.
