Is Webcam Not Showing Up on My New Dell Laptop? It's Happening When I Try to Use OBS Studio.
My laptop is now being used by someone else for studio work through OBS Studio mainly for screen recordings. Since then, my webcam isn't working at all. The Windows 10 camera app either shows an error code (0xA00F4244 NoCamerasAreAttached) or just a blank screen about half the time. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the camera drivers, plus completely resetting Windows, but nothing has worked yet. Any ideas would be very helpful.
I believe someone who used the laptop for studio work probably turned off their camera while also connecting them to another camera. To check, go to Device Manager > Imaging Devices and see if you can find any other cameras listed there. If you don't see anything obvious, try checking under View tab by making sure "Show hidden devices" is selected. That will let me look for more options without taking much extra time.
