The problems usually occur with the software you're using. Based on what I've seen, some programs claimed they needed the enterprise version to function, often due to server operating system requirements. You might also encounter cases where applications fail completely because they're expecting a retail OS and display "unsupported OS" during installation. This issue seemed more common with AV tools and similar utilities.
