Again... Its just not my jam. I feel like there will never be a HL3 considering its wayyyy too over hyped.

They seem to be excellent in their own areas, but they don’t connect at all.

We're in this together. I understand why HL2 and similar titles aren't as widely embraced as others like CS:S and TF2.

The game was decent. It offered some fun and marked progress for 2004. What really caught my attention were the unclear aspects of the world and narrative.

TF2 gains traction because it’s accessible—even simple devices can run it—and it’s completely free. Counter Strike offers a more immersive experience beyond just quick fire; it demands attention to subtle cues like footsteps. This approach stems from its design, which avoids the typical 'spray and pray' style, emphasizing strategy and awareness.

It looks great how well everything comes together. (A few exceptions exist too.) I’ve logged around 1,300 hours in TF2. Even after three years, I keep playing and really enjoy it.

Indeed, I myself im not a fan of the Source engine... Its okay but since I haven't been here since the start I would take Ureal or Maybe even Frostbite over it. Eh. Im going to get beaten up now. Oh well. Its happens.

Consider the mod Black Mesa—it's essentially HL1 2.0. The main drawback is that it wasn't fully developed until recently.

I don't like TF2 because Valve seems to have stopped fixing bugs and now leaves them in the game. It's fun to jump in as a pyro and cause some trouble, making people upset.

I was trying to get TF2 but noticed the download was 4GB bigger than The Crew. It’s a game from a completely different time with much lower graphics, and its map takes an hour to traverse. How is that possible? Why does TF2 take 17GB?
