My temperature is extremely high, and I'm also curious if this is why my 4790k isn't reaching the 4.4 it should achieve. Looking for some guidance. I plan to get a cooler soon after spending over six years studying this processor. The image below shows a screenshot of Warzone running while speccy and task manager provides some stats: https://ibb.co/55fkjJm

Hope you're getting a good cooler—it'll make Warzone run smoother and your CPU handle the load better.

6 years in the market with a 4-core Devil's Canyon? Your guy, a cement is cooling your chip.

I'm not sure why I play a lot, but also in summer it seems to work well. I expect a good FPS improvement tomorrow.

I had mine running at 4.7GHz 24/7 before I switched to AMD. But with that, my 4790K idle temp is 40c and maxing out at 70c-75c on full load. Which I didn't mind, was legit just waiting for my PC to blow up and fry.
My 4790K was partnered up with Kraken X61 and TG Kryonaut paste btw if it helps. Without that paste, it'll be at 85c to 100c for sure.

The paste has minimal impact on performance.
On my 4790K, it was at 4.8 with a Cryorig R1 cooler, and the included paste reached around 80°C during high load.

Hope you're getting a good cooler—it'll really boost Warzone performance and make your CPU work harder.

It's fascinating too since it's very stable. I've been playing Warzone since its release and it runs around 90fps in open areas and about 60 in urban environments. With my cooler today, I plan to update the image and check how it looks.
