Hello, I checked if using the B450 Tomahawk with a Ryzen 7 3700X is possible. I own the B450 Tomahawk, not the MAX model. My setup includes: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, MSI GeForce RTX 2070, SuperGILL 2x8GB DDR4 3600, Silicon Power 256GB M.2, Seagate BarraCuda 2TB, Seasonic 650W Gold Certified.

I believe you should be okay as long as you have a recent Bios, since not all B450 models come with the latest Ryzen support by default due to outdated firmware.

Absolutely, it works well. If you already have it, be sure to refresh your bios.

I'm not sure if the B450 Tomahawk can handle your DDR4 3600. The website lists a maximum of 3466, but you mentioned concerns about the BIOS size. It seems your main worry is compatibility with that specific RAM speed.

I own a 3700x processor on a Tomahawk B350 with a 3200 MHz RAM running at 3600 MHz.
