I’m searching for a budget prebuilt PC since building one isn’t feasible right now. The machine I’m considering is the “IBUYPOWER ArcB 108AV2 Gaming Desktop Computer.” However, I have some concerns about its performance with the games I play.

Could anyone tell me how those titles would perform on it? Minecraft, Fallout 3, Fallout 4, Fallout New Vegas, Detroit: Become Human, Little Nightmares 1 and 2, Life is Strange, and others? Would they run smoothly? Should I consider another setup instead? Please advise.

Fallout 4 is expected to perform very poorly, just like Detroit: Become Human. Most other titles will only run due to their age or outdated status. This isn't a gaming PC. The GPU here is essentially a basic entry-level unit from 2010, matching the performance of a GT 430 released in 2010 for $79. The CPU is decent for an office setup, but it won’t meet the demands of modern gaming hardware from the past decade. The limited GPU availability makes it even less worthwhile, as this model doesn’t include any of those rare, high-end gaming GPUs. Given the current market, there’s no compelling reason to purchase it for around $600.

Fallout 4 is expected to perform very poorly, just like Detroit: Become Human. Most other titles will only run due to their age or outdated status. This isn't a gaming PC. The GPU here is essentially that of an entry-level graphics card from 2010—literally. Its performance matches a GT 430, released in 2010 for $79. The CPU is decent for a typical office machine, but it won’t compensate for the lack of a modern gaming GPU from the past decade. The current shortage makes buying a pre-built unit even less appealing, especially since this one doesn’t come with one. There’s no incentive to pay the $600 price tag.

If your main focus is a PC solely for gaming within your budget, I could recommend a PS or Xbox X. They can be challenging but are achievable to find.

Discord offers plenty of updates to alert you about new drops. I’ve received two Xboxes and one PS5, along with GPUs as well.

You’ll need at least a 1050ti to run any genuine games smoothly at low to medium settings in 1080p or 720p.
A GTX 1650 would be my preferred option for the most affordable setup, and it should handle most games at 1080p with lower settings.

Thank you, do you have any suggestions? The other PC I was considering was the HP Pavilion R5 1650, is that model considered superior?

You can join the in-stock notification for this item.
1650 super offers a solid start in gaming with its 8GB or 256GB storage options.
The 1650 super is considered a decent entry-level card.
