Is this my GPU's fault or PSU?
Hello. I was attempting a test on my PC to evaluate potential earnings with an ASUS Strix GTX 1060 OC. (I understand cryptomining could impact gaming performance, but my card is mainly for gaming use.) I used the ASUS Overclocking software and possibly pushed it too high. After applying the settings, my PC froze. I forced a shutdown, restarted, then tried again with the software on. It still froze when I shut it down. I also experienced this issue before with a failing PSU—restarting Windows Recovery helped, and the software turned on normally afterward. The difference now is that my GPU didn’t activate overclocking, while the PSU did.

"600W PSU" serves little purpose in diagnosing computers compared to asking someone to fix your 120HP car over the phone. You must mention the exact make and model because most 600W PSUs vary greatly, ranging from poor to great quality.
Turn off your overclock or reduce its intensity. If you intended to enable overclock at startup, the issue might be related to that setting. What power supply unit are you using?

It was your overclock that caused the problem. As mentioned by volkgren, lower your overclock or revert the card to its original settings. After each force shutdown, the software applied the overclock and caused the PC to freeze. If you plan to change the overclock, begin with smaller adjustments and test after each one until a stable system is achieved.
