He made this desktop in 2011 for gaming, but it hasn't been used much lately. I'm thinking about whether to keep it or let it go. My main idea is to use it for photography or video editing if possible. The last attempt didn't work and showed a "K Mode/Stopcode exception not handled" error.

Can't tell what specific parts are in it, but...almost 15 years old...there is nothing really you can reuse.
EDIT: i5-2500k and 8GB RAM....
Maybe add hard drive space and turn it into a house file server. Thats about it.
