I enjoy a variety of games that require high graphics and CPU power. As a programmer, I also appreciate multitasking capabilities.
I currently have a 1440p monitor and plan to upgrade to a 4k display. I also have a 4k gaming TV that I intend to connect for games like Witcher 3.
Additionally, from the three storage options, I’m purchasing only the "TEAMGROUP MP33 1TB." The other two are from my previous PC. Should I use the older storage? My old NVMe drive is six years old, and my SSD is three years old.

I would recommend upgrading to a new chipset (b850/x870) to pair with the 7800x3d/9800x3d.
The ASRock X870 Pro RS WiFi is a solid choice for its price.
However, if you aim to handle more demanding tasks, you might want to explore other processors, as these x3d gaming chips underperform compared to the 9900x or the core 7 265K, particularly on older models like the 7800x3d.
For gaming at higher resolutions such as 1440p and even 4K, the performance gap with RTX 5080 will be minimal.
I actually found a great deal for 7800x3d with that board, but switching to the 9800x3d version would cost me over 160 more. Not sure if it's worth the change!

regarding the motherboard, thinking ahead might justify spending a few extra $30.
