Is this game running slow with only one person?
I am absolutely stumped because I can't figure out what to do. My computer has an i5 10040F, 32GB of RAM, and an RTX 2060 card. I'm getting terrible frame rates right now. Used to get around 85-100 FPS but lately it's dropped to just 20-30 frames per second which makes the game unplayable. So far I've tried updating my video drivers for the last few times and changed all settings to low, medium or high with overlays turned off. What else should I try? Also when I play the game "2042" my computer is using 80% of my disk space in my task bar every time I start it up or while playing. A month ago it didn't do that; it always seemed like something was loading on its own.
You need to have reinstalled video drivers about three or four times before. Did you use DDU to remove all old driver leftovers from the graphics card and then reinstall the newest NVIDIA drivers in an elevated command prompt by right-clicking the installer and choosing "Run as Administrator"? Also, what is your power supply unit's brand and model, how old is it? What are the make and model of your motherboard along with its BIOS version? If you have Windows 10, which specific version or edition are you using?

My motherboard is from this link: https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H470M-HVS/index.asp and it's the most recent BIOS version I found online. Windows 10 is at version 22H2, which I think was updated just six days ago. I haven't checked for drivers yet, but I will do that when I get home today. Right now at the car dealership, they are working on my 30,000 mile maintenance package. Haha.
