If the estimate exceeds the cost of purchasing a new adapter ($30), it would be more economical to buy a replacement. Of course, where you live matters a lot, but I wanted something straightforward and easy to understand. If someone is looking for a basic hot air solution without needing a dedicated station, and they’re not expecting it to work below 50-100, I think the person could try their best.
