Is this build OK?
Hey everyone,
I'm just getting started on this forum and was hoping you could take a look at my computer build. Here’s what I've got:
* **CPU:** Intel i3 9100F (without the graphics built-in)
* **Motherboard:** Gigabyte B365M Gaming HD
* **RAM:** Corsair Vengeance 8GB at 2400MHz (running in pairs)
* **Graphics Card:** MSI VENTUS XS GTX 1650 4G DDR5 OC
* **Power Supply:** Gigabyte GP-B700H
* **Hard Drive:** Seagate Barracuda 2TB
I’m not a hardcore gamer by any means, just looking for something to play casually. Could you check to see if everything’s compatible and let me know if I've missed anything? Thanks!
You can run this system with memory up to 2666MHz, and honestly, I’d suggest going for that speed if you can swing it – there aren't many other ways to really boost performance on this setup. It won’t be a huge leap, but if you can find a memory kit at roughly the same price as a slower one, it’s worth considering. It's just a simple “why not?” kind of thing.
Everything else seems pretty solid. The power supply isn’t amazing, but decent ones are hard to find these days, and this particular system doesn't really *need* anything top-tier. I’d have preferred a slightly better power supply, of course, but we're not in typical circumstances right now, so if that’s the best you can manage…
You can definitely run this system with up to 2666MHz memory – I’d actually suggest you do, as it's probably the easiest way to squeeze out a little extra performance. It won’t be a huge leap, but if you can find a faster kit for roughly the same price, it’s worth considering.

I would have preferred a slightly better power supply, but given the current market, if that’s what you can afford, then great.
