Hey, guys my friend has a GTX 980 ti Strix OC and he's asking if 1615MHz on Unigine Heaven is okay.
- FPS 184
- GeForce GTX 980ti
- Graphics: 1615 MHz

It would be a great overclock for a 980 Ti and could earn it a place in the hall of fame, though Unigine benchmarks frequently show higher clock speeds for Nvidia GPUs by some means. I’m not sure the GPU clock is really at 1615Mhz. I’d look into using GPU-Z to verify.

This would be a great overclock for a 980 Ti, potentially earning it a place in the hall of fame, though Unigine benchmarks often list higher clock speeds for Nvidia GPUs by some margin. I’m not sure the GPU clock is actually at 1615Mhz, so I’d check with GPU-Z. Unigine usually doesn’t display the accurate frequency.

That would be a great overclock for a 980 Ti and could earn the card a place in the hall of fame, though Unigine benchmarks often list higher clock speeds for Nvidia GPUs by some chance. I think the GPU clock might not actually reach 1615Mhz. I’d better check with GPU-Z.
Unigine usually doesn’t display the correct frequency accurately.
That sounds like a much better approach. 😄

That's a great overclock, and I could be completely wrong about this, I'm not even sure if you're going to keep this overclock for daily use, or if this isn't one of the most intensive things you're doing with your graphics card, but your frames are pretty high, so if it's daily use, you probably won't need that many FPS

As discussed by the previous members, he shouldn't depend on Unigine's clock speed rating. Use Afterburner or Precision to see the actual clock speed it's running. Unigine typically displays a higher value, around +100, than the real one. If his core clock reaches 1500Mhz or more, that's an excellent overclock for the 980TI.
