Is this a TestRTC problem?
Is this a TestRTC problem?
Hi everyone, I own a Legion 5i Pro that's been sitting for about six months now. A few weeks ago, it took a little hit from something I didn't mean to do. Lenovo sent the laptop back to their official repair shop so they could work on my accidental damage claim. They fixed the camera and the frame around the screen. When I got the machine home, the clock started showing the wrong time all the time. So I reset it and ran a hardware check using Vantage. Now, when the test runs, it gets stuck right at the RTC part, and the time keeps flipping to 00:00. I don't know why this is happening? It's really disappointing because the repair team checked everything very carefully before sending it back. Also, I confirmed that my BIOS has the correct time set in it. Any suggestions would be super helpful. Here are some photos of the issue: https://ibb.co/w0BwC9p and here another one: https://ibb.co/K9Sgppd
Oh no, the computer's clock keeps resetting to midnight every time I turn it off. It sounds like you took out the power battery when they fixed it earlier, so now it can't remember the right time. You should talk to Lenovo about this; maybe they didn't put it back in just right.

Sure thing! Thanks so much for reaching out, even though it was really hard to deal with things. But hey, I'll still give you a call or two from here just in case you need help figuring this out.
