Is this a suitable overclock for an Asus 970 Turbo?
Hello everyone, I wanted to check if the overclock I'm applying with my Asus GTX 970 Turbo is effective. I'm using GPU Tweak 2.0, with a GPU Boost Clock of 1398MHz, which is an increase of 170MHz. The minimum voltage is at its highest setting of 1175mV, up by 163mV, and the maximum voltage reaches 1213mV, increasing by 38mV. My memory clock speed stands at 8610MHz, a boost of 1600MHz, while the power target is set to 110% and the GPU temperature target is at 91°C. I'm using custom fan cooling patterns to keep the GPU around 78°C during heavy use. Would this overclock be suitable? Should I adjust any settings? Thanks!
This OC seems well-suited for my needs since adjusting voltages causes instability. I also wondered if modifying the BIOS could help push voltages beyond normal limits to achieve more overclocking. However, since I don’t have a stock cooler and temperature isn’t a concern, that might not be the best path forward.
