Is this a suitable improvement for addressing a CPU bottleneck issue?
Based on my previous discussion with the helpful community, I think a CPU upgrade might be necessary. I’m currently using a Ryzen 5 3600 paired with an RTX 2080, 16 GB RAM (two 8 GB modules) at 2666 MHz. My goal is to switch to a Ryzen 5 7500f with 16 GB RAM (also two 8 GB modules) at 6000 MHz and an MSI PRO A620M-E MOBO. Will this configuration allow the GPU to run at full capacity and eliminate any bottlenecks? Should I consider overclocking my memory due to the MOBO’s default speeds? Is the amount of RAM suitable for this setup? Any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance, and please let me know if you have any links to review.
First of all, using the term limitation is more accurate than bottleneck since bottleneck is often misused. Second, I believe this pairing works well, especially considering the possibility of a faster GPU in the future if you manage to find the 7500f, which seems to be available only in China. I haven't heard anything about a global release either.
I understand, but if they need an upgrade option, they should choose the 7500f.
