I own a GTX 1060 with 6 GB RAM, an I5 8600K processor, an MSI Z370 gaming pro carbon motherboard, 16 GB of RAM at 2.4 GHz.
Occasionally I try overclocking the GPU using afterburner, but the CPU consistently runs at around 4.8 GHz across all cores without any voltage boost.
CPU temperatures stay below 40°C and GPU temperatures never exceed 71°C. The CPU draws about 35 Watts.
Is this setup stable or should I make adjustments?
I have a 500W PSU and a 240mm Xigmatek scylla cooler.
(I’m not experiencing artifacts, it’s not a big issue. It’s just a bit noisier than usual.)

According to what you mentioned, there are no problems at all. A 4.8GHz speed can be reached with just a Multiplayer adjustment in most situations. To be certain, perform a Prime95 version 26.6 blend test for 20 minutes. If temperatures stay below 80 degrees and it doesn’t fail on any core, you’re in good shape.
