Is this a real question about fake phone numbers and an crazy hotmail mess-up?
Hello, I really need some temporary fake phone numbers to fix my crazy Hotmail problem! I have two Hotmail accounts. The first one got locked up completely without any reason. Since I use NordVPN, they probably did it by tricking me into a phone verification step that's causing trouble for new emails too. But now I just want to unlock the second account. Obviously, I don't want to do that and can't - I only have one phone that must already be used. So I tried adding my 2nd Hotmail as security backup and verifying it that way... but then I started getting into this endless loop of it a) asking for codes sent via email or b) at the same time locking up my second account again without reason (maybe VPN?) c) intermittently asking for phone registration on both accounts sometimes. If that's not enough - I can't even send emails to Microsoft or their official forums because whenever I try to sign in with my 2nd account, it keeps trying to lock that too? And I obviously can't sign in with the first one either! I've wasted an hour or two trying to find free fake phone numbers online but nothing works. Does anyone know of any temporary fake number sites that actually work with Hotmail, Google/Gmail, Facebook etc? (I need a Google account for YouTube too). I'd prefer something free - but if it's safe at all as little cost as possible on the one off or very short time frame like a week or month. I found one that wanted US$36 p/month - no way am I paying that though - not rich! I'm really desperate - if I don't set up backup security emails for both accounts and/or force it into phone reg within less than a week they'll lock me out of both! I truly hope someone can help end this voodoo nightmare? Thanks for your time
I've used Google Voice for a few things, but some websites say they don't like Google numbers and won't let me use them. Microsoft might be one of those sites that doesn't allow it. Edit: Have you tried calling their support team and telling them your story? What about trying to log in without the VPN?
