Is this a solid rating? Testing a 30C on idle.

It's slightly improved compared to my 5600X in R23.

*coughs* 5900X *coughs some more* 21000 *cough-cough-cough* Seriously, though, not bad for that model i9, IMO.

Keep in mind that with Cinebench, having more cores generally improves performance, and a 5600MHz clock speed is only about six cores. That explains why your scores are lower. What are your clock speeds?

12 cores with 24 threads at 4.8 performance. Joke about the number—didn’t mean 2,100. Updated April 12, 2022 by An0maly_76 Added more details

You're right, I misread something. It was a typo on my part.

Your 5600X runs above 12,000 and the 5900X exceeds 24,000.

I see now, you have both versions. That’s probably where I got mixed up...

What are your PBO configurations? I haven't done an OC yet... Haha!

Only when evaluating against other 10900x models should the OP assess his starting point or overclock potential. Matching these chips to AMD components doesn't provide useful insight unless that's the goal. A brief online check shows 14.4 and 14.3k are typical averages for a stock 10900x, while 16.4k sets the world record in CBR23.
