Hi everyone,

I'm setting up a PC for a prebuild site where I select components, but I don't plan to assemble it myself. I'm using Pcspecialist for this purpose.

Estimated purchase date: Not available – I haven’t decided yet.
Budget range: Likely around £5,000.
Usage priority from highest to lowest:
gaming, watching films/tv, video editing, work.

Monitor situation:
No, I already have two monitors – 2K at 240Hz with a vertical display in 1080p at 144Hz.

Upgrade parts needed:
Not specified.

Do you need an operating system?
Yes.

Preferred parts sources:
pcspecialist.co.uk
Location: United Kingdom

Parts preferences:
No specific brand, just quality and reliability.

Overclocking:
Maybe.

SLI or Crossfire:
No (not sure what that means).

Monitor resolution:
2560 x 1440 | 1920 x 1080

Additional notes:
I prefer solid cooling without being too noisy. Most importantly, why am I upgrading?

I just want the best possible setup.

Parts list:
Case – FRACTAL NORTH TG XL GAMING CASE (BLACK)
Processor – AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D (up to 5.2GHz/104MB with 3D V-CACHE/AM5)
Motherboard – ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO (AM5, DDR5, M.2 PCIe 5.0, Wi-Fi 7)
RAM – 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 6000MHz (2 x 16GB)
Graphics card – 16GB ASUS TUF GEFORCE RTX 4080 SUPER OC EDITION - HDMI, 3 x DP

The build looks good. The PC configurator shows there aren't many better choices than what you've selected already. If you prefer ARGB, you can also enable ARGB GPU support. LED strips and braided power cables are available too. Make sure to choose the right PSU power cable—either kettle lead for the UK or IEC C19 UK, as the default might differ.

Thanks! I really appreciate it. It seems the site automatically adjusts if you need to change the power cable, so I should be fine there.
I'm not a big RGB user since my computer is on the left side of my desk, making it hard for me to see through the glass.
