uefi appears to include some additional partitions, though installing windows usually handles it automatically. It's mostly about confirming if partitioning is necessary. Storage costs are also low, with a 1tb ssd costing around fifty dollars today. The available options vary depending on the board you use. My Z690 model has six nvme slots.
If required, this should suffice.

I appreciate the updated list more. But I noticed the manual for the motherboard mentions the CPU socket as AM5, while Amazon lists it as AM4. This difference seems important. Does it make a difference? I also observed that this model is a micro ATX, so I’ll check if I can adjust the list to better fit. It makes sense this project should be approached carefully.
This would likely be a superior motherboard for the build in POST #14.
The MSI-B550-A PRO appears more suitable based on this information.
You can find more details here: https://versus.com/en/gigabyte-b550m-aor...b550-a-pro
The CPU and motherboard both use AM4 connectors, while neither supports AM5. The document you're referencing is intended for a B650 motherboard, not the one you provided.
Oh GEEZ! Thanks for bringing that up.
But I still need to ask, is the MSI PRO a more attractive option compared to the GIGABYTE ELITE? I appreciate the extra SATA and USB ports, the lower price, but I still value the advice of experts like you.
