In short, I’ve always played each game as it comes, and after a while I’m done with it. The same goes for the TES titles—like Skyrim, I played once and stopped. I was considering returning to Fallout 3 with a graphics upgrade and giving it another shot, but I wanted to check if I’m missing something. There are dedicated fans, and I genuinely want a deep, immersive experience. Maybe I’ll try another run of XCOM next time.

Fallout 3 offers a rewarding experience for those who explore its depth. The more you learn, the more engaging it becomes. It’s primarily not a shooter, yet VATS can still be fun to watch heads pop or soar. Appreciate the bleak atmosphere and the grim conclusion. Don’t miss out on the DLC content either. The base is decent, though Anchorage feels a bit restrictive. Mothership Zeta stands out, possibly the longest dungeon ever created. That covers all the DLC I remember. Broken Steel enhances the post-game experience. Gameplay hints suggest starting with a hunting rifle gives you confidence.

Thanks, buddy. Just another reason to start and lose it after 10 minutes.

Absolutely crank it up! This game offers total freedom—you’re free to explore wherever you like. I highly recommend giving it a try.

I found the story in New Vegas more appealing. Fallout 3 looked quite dull by contrast. Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference. If you can't buy the rebuy, try it out. But if you're willing to spend money, I'd advise against it since you already indicated you're not interested. Preferences vary, and popularity doesn't guarantee enjoyment.
