I refreshed my profile details, but the keyboard and mouse aren't responding in Windows. They function in BIOS and Safe Mode, yet they freeze once you enter the login screen. Could this be related to a driver issue, or did updating the BIOS affect Windows? I’m considering using the old computer with Windows to test it.

Examine your keyboard for a BIOS switch—Corsair models usually have these. Alternatively, the system might have been configured in a specific USB mode during installation. Updating the BIOS could have reversed that setting. Options like "fast boot" or "legacy USB support" are common, and it may also relate to xHCI Mode, which enables USB 3.0 functionality (often needed for older operating systems).
