I've been having trouble with games that use a lot of RAM when they start. They freeze or crash before even starting up, just like the loading screen for some games stops working. This happens whether it's a game that needs 9 gigabytes of RAM or one that needs 11 gigabytes, which is way too much for me to handle. I only have 16 gigabytes of DDR4 memory and my graphics card is an RX 570 with 4GB video memory, but the games still crash because they need more than that.

The requirements for Victoria 3 are here: https://www.pcgamebenchmark.com/victoria...quirements It says you need a minimum of 8GB of memory. If possible, try getting at least 16GB to make it work better. So maybe your system needs around 9GB of RAM. Have you checked your RAM with MemTest86 for stability? https://www.memtest86.com/ If you are using an XMP overclock on your memory, turn it off for a second and see if the problems go away.

You need to give me much more specific details than that. Just saying DDR4 16 GB isn't enough. I have to know the brand, model, and timing too. Also, tell me about your motherboard, hard drives, operating system version, and power supply unit. For those two games you mentioned, 16 GB of memory is recommended, so yes, they can use more than 8 GB. But if the games crash, something goes wrong.
