Is there some GPU setting for this? Keep screen recording/streaming while the monitor is switched off
I need to stream a video without using the monitor, but I still want the audio from the video. I thought this would keep the GPU working for the display. However, after reviewing the recording, the video freezes when the monitor is turned off, even though the audio remains functional. When I switch it back on, the video resumes recording smoothly. It seems to be an LG UltraGear model that supports DisplayPort. Is there a way around this issue? Maybe adjusting settings in the Nvidia control panel or another method to keep processing the screen without a monitor connected? Thank you.
They might have a particular reason for turning the monitor off during playback.
