I'm searching for individuals with similar interests in gaming. The ideal experience would likely center around a game such as Star Citizen, but currently, Orbital Racer in Simulation Mode on PC offers the most engaging features. Essentially, if you find this approach enjoyable, I aim to assemble a "political coalition" that anticipates the next major updates—either by influencing existing projects or attracting an indie developer to address these needs.

Orbital Racer for PC provides a lot of fun with its lighthearted gameplay, and it also includes a Newtonian physics navigation system that closely matches the flight model I'm after. The key improvements would be: eliminating inertial stabilization in favor of rotational stabilization, adding a map editor for diverse routes and challenges, enabling camera tilting so the forward direction appears lower on the screen, allowing better visibility and encouraging rolling to align the top view with travel direction. Additionally, updating the compass design to resemble that in Thrust and Shoot would enhance usability.

However, it's important to note that Orbital Racer for PC will remain a single-player experience. The Nintendo version seems unsatisfactory, and it appears the PC release may be discontinued for further development.
