I can enjoy single-player and zombie modes, however, whenever I attempt to play online, the game requests that it run in safe mode. I've already attempted both accepting and rejecting this request, but neither option resolves the issue; the screen simply goes black, and I only see my cursor. This game was purchased physically on disc, not through Steam. Could you please assist me?

Which title are you inquiring about? What computer specifications do you have? Is this a legitimate version of the game, and not an illicitly obtained copy?
