Hello, here are the details of your setup:
AMD Ryzen 5 3500X
24.0GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1064MHz (15-15-15-36) (Previously 8GB, I upgraded with two 8GB sticks on top of my 2x4 sticks)
Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. B450M DS3H-CF (AM4) Motherboard
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 (Gigabyte)
931GB TOSHIBA HDWD110 (SATA)
238GB SSDPR-CX400-256-G2 (SATA (SSD))

After about a year of assembling my system, I started noticing significant slowdowns and performance issues in several games, along with black screens and crashes due to insufficient memory. For Christmas, I purchased a 16GB dual-channel expansion that matched my existing one and connected it as follows: two 8GB sticks on slots 1 and 2, and two 4GB sticks on slots 3 and 4.

Now, I frequently encounter what I describe as "freeze stutters" in many games that previously didn’t have them, even though performance has improved. This problem also affects my browser. The game will pause for 1-2 seconds while audio and other functions remain active, then the screen recovers and runs normally.

It doesn’t appear to be related to actual performance loss; instead, the computer tends to slow down noticeably. When checking in Task Manager, everything seems normal, but identifying the cause is frustrating because one issue keeps replacing another.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You always use a single kit from the factory or come out of the box. Could you share the make and models of all your RAM modules?
Also, could you tell me the model and age of your power supply unit?

Oh! Sorry! I'm not very technical, but I think all the sticks are from the same brand. It's PATRIOT Viper. I don't know the exact details without more info, but I think it's a newer model.
