I would choose a B450 motherboard with the Ryzen 3000 BIOS already installed, similar to the MSI MAX line. More affordable while maintaining reliability; only missing PCIe 4.0 support, which isn’t compatible with current cards. All ports are DisplayPort only, the remaining options may experience slower performance and lack high refresh capabilities.
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 Super Windforce OC 3X graphics card with 8GB of 256-bit GDDR6 memory. Includes three Windforce fans and a 3x wind cooling system. Comes with the GV-N207SWF3OC-8GD video card.
I also looked into DisplayPort during my research. Does your monitor support that feature? Installing the BIOS should be manageable. I picked this setup from someone in the community — they seemed knowledgeable and addressed all my concerns. All the necessary components have been ordered already.
Connect the DisplayPort cable to the rear of the RTX 2070 Super. Avoid connecting it to the motherboard unless you're using an AMD APU with integrated graphics (such as Ryzen R5-3400G, R3-3200G, etc.). Standard non-G Ryzen processors lack built-in graphics support.
