Your setup seems to have a mismatch between your components. The i9 12900K is a powerful CPU, but with a 4080 GPU and low RAM usage, it suggests your GPU might be underutilized. The high CPU usage while the GPU stays idle could indicate a bottleneck, but it might also mean your GPU isn’t matching the workload. For Valorant with frame tearing, you likely need a CPU that matches or exceeds your GPU’s performance. Consider upgrading to an i9-13900K or Ryzen 9 5900X for better balance.

Make sure you're connected to your GPU, not your motherboard. If that's verified, it might mean your system has malware present.

Check your settings, monitor specs, and system specs. Make sure you have sufficient RAM and that the cable is connected to the correct port—GPU or motherboard.

The 12900k can manage a 4080, definitely more than what you mentioned. Expecting full CPU usage on the 12900k while the 4080 Super runs at 20% isn't normal with your setup. Something seems off. What kind of frame rates are you seeing in Valorant? Are you using the integrated graphics? Confirm you're connected to the GPU.

I possess 32 GB of RAM along with a display size of 2560 x 1440. I also have an additional 32 GB of the same RAM, but it fails to boot after installation.

I'm adjusting my frame settings to 165, but I still see a high reading of 260. It keeps crashing whenever I switch apps.

Check the power indicator on your GPU. If it shows connected or active power, you're good. If it's off or just lights up briefly, your CPU might be handling the power.

The display port cable or HDMI cable is connected to the GPU from either the monitor or the motherboard.

It seems you're asking about connecting to the GPU or motherboard. Could you clarify what you need help with?
