I’m encountering a challenge within the game Resident Evil 4, specifically at a juncture requiring constant pressing of a key to proceed. It’s widely acknowledged that the “professional” difficulty presents an almost insurmountable obstacle due to dramatically increased demands on this keypress action, pushing it beyond human capabilities.
I previously owned a PlayStation 2 controller featuring a “turbo” function – activating this mode would cause holding down a button to be registered as rapid, almost instantaneous presses.

Is there any software or method available to assist me in overcoming this difficulty?
