I have the existing configuration, but I encounter problems; either the devices fail to turn on when connected to the USB hub you own, or when three of them are plugged into the docking station it tends to reset repeatedly. It was suggested that a powered USB switch with its own power cord might be necessary. This idea came to mind.

Could it be feasible to design a switch that lets you individually control each device between the two PCs? For instance, if the webcam, microphone, mouse, and keyboard are all connected to the USB hub, you could move the mouse and keyboard to PC 2 while keeping the others on PC 1.

You can achieve this by using two USB switches, one for the mouse/keyboard and another for the microphone/webcam.

No single USB switch can handle all these functions.
