I just stayed two days without power and couldn’t do anything (have muscular dystrophy and mostly bed-bound).
I spent my time gazing at the walls… I’ve done that a lot already. Need a fix.
My idea was a mini PC.
Beelink SER5 with 8-Core AMD Ryzen 7 5800H
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C4GV...D0K5A&th=1
I plan to connect it to my current monitor (LG 32" 4K lg 32ud59-b) so I can stream movies or TV shows from an external HDD.
I’m thinking about purchasing a solar generator – ECOFLOW River 2 Pro (768Wh).
That should keep it running for a day two, right? At least the Beelink under full load is 45W and the LG is 50W. I think if I push more than 100W total, I’d be surprised.
I also have a regular gas generator for medical gear, lights, space heater (if needed), and possibly a small inverter generator (2000W–3000W).
For periods when power cuts last three days or longer.

Your solar generator can supply you with more than 7 hours of uninterrupted use at a power draw of 100 watts from the battery. The site claims around 1.8 kWh when solar charging is included, which would equate to about 18 hours of continuous operation. In practical conditions, these figures are reduced, and your actual usage is also lower, so the readings seem reliable.

If your only goal is to watch movies, simply use an android device or a raspberry pi for a more affordable option that performs similarly with lower power consumption.
