Hello
I own a high-end PC monitor that can rotate 90 degrees easily, and I’m interested in getting started.
I’ve heard that using Windows shortcuts could help switch between modes, but these don’t seem to work.
Someone suggested it might be related to the GPU you have.
My system is a Gigabyte 3070 Ti OC Gaming with 8GB RAM, and I’ve seen others mention similar issues…

It’s simple to switch to Portrait mode, but switching back is risky—especially with the mouse in a strange state.
Is there a more straightforward method to toggle between modes regularly without having to guess and waste time trying to revert to Landscape after using Portrait?
I’d really like shortcut keys or mouse commands, since I have a scroll wheel and side buttons.
By the way: do you think it’s possible to set Windows to automatically detect when the monitor has turned 90 degrees and adjust accordingly, like on a tablet or phone?
Thanks for your help

Hey Guys,
I'm still looking for some good advice on this one ?
@KingLoki
The only option that I can see, that might help is this one below... but I just don't understand how it would help, or what exactly it does?
Is this for a PC or a laptop, cause I have a PC ?
Does it create a shortcut?
Is it safe to use, not going to break something?
Anyone try it before ?
Method 4: Edit Windows Registry to Enable Screen Rotation

Backup the Windows registry before moving forward, just to ensure everything is secure. The risk of issues is minimal since this feature is already included in Windows 11. The key that activates it is "1" and deactivates it with "0". You can easily restore it by revisiting the registry and adjusting the Auto Rotation "Enable" setting according to the instructions.
