Marvel Rivals relies on a server-based anti-cheat system rather than a client-side one. Any anti-cheat tool in Linux operates within user space and doesn't directly access the kernel. I'm not entirely sure about the server-side implementation, but the Steam interface doesn't explicitly state that NetEase Game Security functions at the kernel level—this might simply indicate it's primarily a server-side component. It could also mean the client-side tool points to the core anti-cheat software running on the servers.

Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't aware that highlighting kernel-level tricks is now necessary on Steam, and you're right—it doesn't seem to work at the kernel level if it's running on Linux.
