Is there a reason why Call of Duty: Modern Warfare experiences such significant lagging?
My computer has an i7-7700k processor, a GTX 1060 with 6GB of VRAM, and 16GB of 3000MHz RAM. My internet connection isn't a problem, as I don’t experience lag in any game except Modern Warfare. I’ve adjusted the graphics to their lowest setting, set CPU priority to standard, and disabled NVIDIA overlay—still, I consistently encounter a 2-second lag spike approximately every 5-10 minutes. Is this game specifically designed for more recent Intel processors (8th/9th generation)? Does it perform best with AMD graphics cards? Are there other players with significantly superior hardware who are still experiencing these same lag occurrences? (This would suggest that my own equipment isn’t the cause.)
