Is there a problem with the brightness flashing in the Xbox game bar?
I used the ASUS armoury crate widget in the Xbox game bar app to switch settings from silent to turbo, but the widget didn’t function correctly and chose the Windows balanced plan. On AC it remained stuck between balanced and turbo, with the screen flashing between brightness levels while turbo was active. The screen brightness was set to max during that time.
I closed the Xbox game bar and AC, then selected the turbo plan, which worked properly. After restarting the device, all plans through AC functioned normally with the screen brightness as expected.
Two questions:
1. Could the flickering have caused any lasting damage to the device?
2. Should I reset the device to factory settings?
I believe everything is now fine—though I suspect there’s an issue with the AC widget for the Xbox game bar app, which I won’t use going forward. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I wouldn't assume the flickering caused any harm, especially if you halted it.
If everything functions properly now, I wouldn't make any adjustments.

No mistakes were found in the reliability log; the issue only occurred with the AC widget on the Xbox game bar. Once I stopped using that widget and switched back via the start menu, everything functions properly.
