I’m looking to upgrade to the GTX 1060 6GB for FX 4100 CPU OC at 4.5GHz. If it doesn’t cause any bottlenecks, I need an AM3+ socket CPU that fits my setup. With 10GB RAM, what recommendations do you have?

It will slow things down. This old CPU runs on a worn-out system, and I don’t suggest investing more money here. You could buy a used 3770 with an LGA 1155 board for a low price and stick with DDR3 DIMMs. Or switch to another platform like AM4, which is still solid.

consider alternatives like FX 8320 or 8300 if you're on a budget. keep your funds for the Ryzen if possible.
