Is there a "go-to" budget microphone in 2024 for talking to people within games?
My budget is £40 or so.

Where do you find yourself? Which platform do you favor for buying products? How much are you willing to invest in a microphone? There is this link; https://www.logitechg.com/en-us/products...00067.html, but following Logitech's acquisition of Blue, the entire selection has taken a turn. If you're seeking another type of microphone, you should clarify what you're after.

The Arozzi Aria headset is impressively affordable. It's quite soft and comfortable, though it tends to get warm. They also offer a detachable microphone, allowing you to use it solo or connect it for group play.
