Yesterday i bought the ATH-M40x Headphones and a Boya M1S microphone to use together. After delivery, I tested both devices. The headphones worked well with the 3.5mm jack, though the sound was weak. The microphone, however, only picked up static when plugged into various ports. I tried using it on all 3.5mm connections and even attempted a beta BIOS installation, but it didn’t help. Installing a new Realtek driver from Mobo didn’t resolve the issue either. On my Linux Mint laptop, it worked perfectly. I’m unsure why this is happening. I was considering adding a USB jack or sound card, but the webcam with built-in mouse had good mic performance, though the audio quality was poor.

Yes, I've permitted apps to access the microphone. I'm using the Asrock B450M-HDV R4.0. The static appears only from the right side, not the left. Not sure if that makes a difference.
Edit: I think I'll ask the seller. It was purchased from the official store. I plan to update this in about 12 or 16 hours.
Many motherboard microphone connections are single-channel, but your microphone sends a stereo signal. As a result, only one channel will be active while the other remains unused. This still doesn’t clarify why you’re unable to extract clear audio from either side of the stereo pair.
Before purchasing the M40X, I used a JBL Q300 with a DAC that supports 3.5mm to USB. Now I’m using it directly without any extra amplification for the volume of my M40X. However, I still need a solution for the microphone issue. I also have problems with cable management and adding more peripherals would only complicate things. Unless it’s essential and could resolve my problem.

If so, then it does indeed look like a DAC, but it doesn't explain why you said in your first message that:-

There's no way a standard mic will work with the Line Input unless the mic contains a battery powered amplifier. The only PC input that's likely to work is the Mic input which is more sensitive.
If you're using the JBL Q300 DAC and it's bi-directional (headphones + mic) you should
not
be plugging anything into the 3.5mm sockets on the computer, when the DAC is set as the audio playback + recording device in Windows.
You probably won't be able to separate the playback and recording sections in the JBL Q300 DAC driver, so you won't be able to plug the stereo jack from the Boya microphone into the PC sockets.
That's why I recommended the Fosi DAC. It has separate 3.5mm audio jacks for headphones and microphone.
Presumably the JBL Q300 headset came with a TRRS 3.5mm audio plug, for left and right earpieces plus mono mic, which plugged into a single TRRS socket on the JBL DAC. That's why

I'm guessing you now have two TRS jacks. One TRS on the M40X stereo headphones and another TRS on the Boya stereo mic.
Obviously you can't connect two TRS plugs into a single TRRS socket, plus the 3.5mm mic input on the mobo will be disabled when you enable the JBL DAC driver in Windows. Catch 22.

If you need more power to drive the M40X than the mobo is capable of providing and you want to use the Boya mic, you cannot use the JBL DAC. It doesn't have a separate mic input socket and in any case it's only a mono mic input, not stereo mic.
Unfortunately by upgrading to better quality headphones plus a stereo mic with separate connections, you need to buy a DAC amplifier with separate stereo headphone and stereo microphone sockets.
Any cheaper solution than DAC? Fosi DAC is like half the price of my M40X and i don't want to spend that much money, at least not this month. I was thinking buying TRRS to USB so its not a 3.5mm device anymore but a USB device and i have powered USB dock.
