Hi, I'm looking into ways to fix this. Would it be possible to set the app window to always appear in a specific spot, like Firefox opening on the first desktop and Chrome at the half of the second? I want the settings to show up in a consistent location every time.

They're talking about genuine software versus the misleading apps from the Windows Store. Real programs can be installed and remember their location, while apps often don't behave that way.

The similar applications are determined by checking their behavior and design choices. It depends on how the developers handle window positioning and what happens when a window leaves the visible area, such as appearing on a secondary screen. If this functionality isn't implemented, it typically follows the operating system's standard placement rules.

I thought he was referring to the screen position (like monitor 1 or 2) rather than the path C:\program files (x86). If it's the latter, then yes, Office doesn't offer an alternative option, and I got confused about what he meant.

my bad, rereading my post, I wrote really bad so, on windows 10, there is not any way to set, where the windows application(and if possible, the windows subsection of the application*) should be opened? * for example maya shold open in deskop 1, the hypershade window (which is a subsection of maya) should be opened in desktop 2, everytime that I launch maya even because, everytime that I open an application, it doesnt open in any apparently logic, one times it opens on desktop 1, another time it opens on desktop 4, ad etc

Not automatically handled by default. You can achieve this using third-party window managers such as DisplayFusion, MultiMon, or Actual Multiple Monitors. On Windows, it will launch to show the last time it was closed at.
