Is there a low frame rate in all games when using a NVIDIA GeForce 1060 with 6GB of RAM?
Hi everyone! You might have read this article, but I’m facing a bit of an issue here.
I play FPS games such as CS:GO and Valorant and usually hit 200fps. However, when I started my PC one day, it felt a bit strange. After opening Valorant, it opened very slowly and when I tried to play, it dropped to 120 and then to 40 fps. I’ve done many things like cleaning the PC—everything seems clean, even the GPU—and even changed the thermal paste. Still, the game keeps dropping to 120 and then to 40.
I’ve also installed lower NVIDIA drivers, like version 552.44, which Mr. Google recommended for compatibility, but it didn’t help.
I know my specs are a bit low, so I guess that’s the only thing I can afford.

RAM: 16 GB RAM
Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
Storage: SSD-120GB for System
M.2- 1TB
HDD- 2 TB
PSU- INPLAY ULTRA SERIES GS650w 80+bronze (just bought about a month ago)
MOBO- GIGABYTE H310M DS2v 2.0 LGA1151 (I don’t know the BIOS version, how to check?)

Hello there! Please share your PSU make, model, and age. What is your motherboard's make and model? Which BIOS version are you using? What operating system are you running? Kindly provide those details.
I attempted to install lower NVIDIA drivers such as 552.44, as suggested by Mr. Google, but it didn't work. Regarding your driver, here are the details:

Download the <language_name> <name> for <os_name> systems. Released <release_date>.
Visit www.nvidia.com and download this version. Use DDU to clear all GPU drivers (Intel, AMD, Nvidia) in Safe Mode, then install the driver listed above manually.

Regarding the DDU, how should I use this? I've downloaded and installed drivers manually and haven't uninstalled my old GPU drivers. I thought it would automatically remove them if I install a newer one.
EDIT: I tried DDU, watched a YouTube tutorial, but it didn't fix the issue. I'm using the driver you suggested.
