Is there a hidden message here?
I have a list of times in Google Sheets that add up to a total at the bottom. The formula at the bottom uses =Sum(F5:F41). The total result is wrong. If I only include F5:F16, it shows the right number. But when I go to F17, the total changes and gets incorrect. All the cells and columns look fine. Maybe some hidden code inside a cell I can't see? Any advice would be very helpful.
What's on screen for cell F17? Can I just try typing a number there by myself?
It was wrong by hours. It shows 8:30 total when it should be 62:15. Created a work around: Since I'm looking for total time spent, instead of getting hours and minutes, I put this in another column and got time in decimal. =HOUR(F5)+MINUTE(F5)/60 Got what I need. thanks
It's pretty tough to check what's inside because you can't look at it.
