Hello,
I know many PC gamers face the same problem with gaming mice—double clicking after years of use. I’m now searching for a new gaming mouse that won’t suffer from this issue long-term. Right now, I own the Corsair Harpoon RGB model, which performs excellently for gaming but has started developing double clicking problems. It’s been only two years since I purchased it, and with just a two-year warranty, I suspect it’s nearing the end of its lifespan. This mouse is from Corsair’s budget gaming line, possibly built to last only a short time. I mainly play FPS games such as Team Fortress 2. Do you have any recommendations on what kind of gaming mouse I should consider buying next? It should be wired and ideally never experience that double clicking issue, just like the ones from the early 2000s. I still have a working mouse from ten years ago that’s been with me, but it’s too small for my hand now. Companies like Logitech and Razer keep promoting gaming mice that claim to withstand millions of clicks, yet most fail after just a few years—how can we expect anything similar?

See the Logitech G502 SE HERO Gaming really good mouse I've used for more than a year, no issues at all. Had similar problems with Corsair, switched to Logitech and it works perfectly.

Have a Logtech G 305 double click after 6 months use. Had me mad. So opened it up and found the Omron switches were tired and useless. So I replaced them with Kailh switches. Now, some websites will claim there's no difference between the two (Omron and Kailh) but I beg to differ. The replacement job I did was two years ago!
I replaced the switches (unsoldered them), replace the stick-on feet (found on Ebay and Boom! I've been happy since. I further did the Linus mod job by buying an AA battery sleeve that permits AAA super lithium batteries to be installed. Your cheap Logitech G 305 will be lighter (under 70grams), better balanced and happier.
