I believe you shouldn't expect demands when you're not ready to pay. Guild Wars 2 is a good example. Free accounts have some small restrictions, but you can still play and complete quests. It's not fully free-to-play, but it offers the closest experience to a full game you'll have.

They switched to free-to-play. Thanks! I’ll check if he wants to give it a shot. For myself, I’d like to join the PUBG crew but my friend is budget-friendly and won’t pay for it.

Yeah, I’ve played Warframe a few years ago. It’s around 900 hours. I attempted to talk him into it, but he doesn’t enjoy the repetitive parts. We usually play MOBA games and are tired of those matchmaking loops (LoL, OW).
